Phyllis Underdown
Phyllis Underdown was born in Wellington 1934. In 1954 Phyllis moved to Gisborne and there began exhibiting in 1957. She was a founding member of the Gisborne Printmakers Group (1976) and the “Flying Moas” Art Co operative (1986). The latter has resurfaced as the Gisborne Contemporaries.
