Stephen Gibbs, Ngai Tamanuhiri: champion master wave skier and principle tutor at the well-known school of visual arts and design Maori, Toihoukura. Steve is part of a committed group who are involved in the ongoing development of visual arts Maori. His technique employs the layering of translucent washes of acrylic with personalised references to his tribal histories of Gisborne.
