Crawford's Women - A photographic portfolio curated by Peter Ireland

The exhibition, Crawford’s Women, has been extracted from the portfolio of the same name which appeared in issue 52 of the New Zealand Journal of Photography. Peter Ireland was guest editor for this issue in which his intention was to provide a modest introduction to the work of William F Crawford. Crawford was an early local photographer whose images are now part of the museum photographic archive. The museum acknowledges Peter's kindness and the generosity of the publishers, New Zealand Centre for Photography, in allowing us to use the portfolio as an exhibition.
